It has been just over six years that our eldest son Michael has been with Coach Bruce, and I as a father of a young man who has a passion to pitch this meeting was a life changing experience, for both our son as well as the family. Coach Bruce has not only developed our son both physically and mentally, but he has also helped him spiritually to believe in himself and his abilities. Because of this relationship Coach Bruce has become a family member, we could not be any prouder of saying we know Coach Bruce. Over the many years Bruce has always taken the time to nourish and expand the relationship with Michael as he developed from a young player into the high school player that he is today. As we have seen our son develop over the years we could not be any prouder of how he has performed on the field with the teachings of Bruce. We were fortunate to meet Coach Bruce approximately four years ago through the Martin family. They spoke very highly of Coach Bruce as pitching coach for their son Nick. We were impressed with Bruce’s passion for the game, enthusiasm, energy and knowledge of pitching. What we did not realize was that not only was our son getting lessons on pitching, but more importantly life lessons. These lessons delt with how important school is, how much attitude and effort is important in life and what place Faith should have in his life. As fate would have it, our son’s position has changed to catcher, but similar to baseball and life, Bruce has made the adjustment to his lessons. Through the years we have done many lessons with Bruce, have had John play on his summer teams the past two summers. Bruce is such a positive influence to his players and when needed provides “tough love”.

In our opinion, he cares more about you as a person than a player, and always wants the "what is best" for players and that is why he is great as a coach. We would highly recommend Bruce to anyone for their son or for their team. The time spent with Bruce has placed our son in a position to succeed, not only on the baseball field, but, more importantly, in the game of life.

"We have been very happy and impressed with Christian’s growth both on the field and off. As you know you have been working with our boy’s for 2 plus years now with Christian being the main focus. He has improved dramatically in pitching and hitting. He plays on the Florida Pokers 10U travel team, which finished the 2009 season ranked #6 in the entire country. The team is stacked and Christian is the teams #1 pitcher, leading the team with Strike outs, wins and innings pitched. He also is in top 3 in batting average, hits, and walks and led the team in RBI’s and extra base hits. This all is a byproduct of his work and preparation with you. All of his coaches say he has tremendous baseball savvy and was also voted by the players as a team captain. I believe that he loves baseball because of the work you have done with him. He has more confidence in his play now than he has before coming to you. Off the field he has grown as young Christian boy. He respects the game, the coaches and his teammates because you have shown him how to do that. He loves coming to you and working out. I will leave you with this. A few years ago for his birthday we said he could do whatever he wanted. Water park, Ice skating, go to a Hockey or Heat basketball game and what did he choose, a day with you working out with his birthday friends. That told us then and there that you have a great impact into his baseball life and walk with the Lord. Keep up the Great work brother. When I originally met Coach Bruce, I was merely seeking a baseball coach who would work with my son, Jordan, to improve his pitching, offensive and defensive skills. More than 6 years later, what we have found in Coach Bruce is not only a great baseball instructor, but also a mentor, role model and wonderful friend. Coach Bruce has refined and improved both the physical and mental aspects of Jordan's game. In fact, Jordan was one of the primary pitchers on his school's high school varsity team as an 8th grader. I cannot say enough about what an important role Bruce has and continues to play in our lives!
